These were also printed under the fictitious printing company C.A.R.E.N.A. The first printing was in July 1983, with the original 4th and 9th Tradition essays restored. There were two more printings in 1983, the second was in September, and the third was in October. The next two printings were in 1984, the fourth in January, and the Fifth in March. The latter included stickers, so that you could have the original essays, or cover them up with the changes. These will be in the second paragraph of Tradition Four, on page 61, and the last paragraph of Tradition Nine, on page 68. These had blue dust jackets, with Narcotics Anonymous, Second Edition, and CARENA, in white, on the spine.
